Wood flour

Targets & Goals

Our wood flour is composed of untreated resinous wood particles that are crushed, dired, and sieved in order to obtain a particular granulometry. If you want to know more about our production proscess, then you can clic here.

 

Physical state of our wood flour :

• Prduct without any chemical treatment : The selection of the raw material is overriding in order to obtain a wood flour with a high quality level. The PH is between 5,0 and 5,5. This is an important point because it can have an impact according to the kind of application in witch it is used.
• Low Ash rate : The ash rate of our wood flour is between  0,4 % et 0,5%. That mean that it has a correct integration into productions process.
• The apparent density is from 0,096 to 0,195 g/cm (the density is variable according to the flour type. The average density is : 0,110 g/cm3)
• The moisture rate of our wood flour is maximum 7%. Indeed, our drying process is optimized to have a very dry flour that will be subsequently easily usable in productions.

 

Chemical state of our flour :

You will find hereafter the chemical properties of our wood flour. Precise analysis made by an free laboratory can be delivered on request as part of a partnership.

Dry product analysis : 

• Cellulose : 45 – 50%
• Hemicellulose : 20 – 25%
• Lignin : 22 – 27 %
• Mineral elements : Cr + Cu + Ni + Zn < 20 mg/kg of the product

 

Granulometry informations :

Our flour is sieved precisely to abtain a particular granulometry. For that aim we have several sieves :

• 45 µ
• 50 µ
• 75 µ
• 90 µ
• 125 µ
• 150 µ
• 200 µ
• 250 µ
• 315 µ
• 355 µ
• 500 µ

Purpose areas

Actually our flour is used in several applications. It is for example integrated as vegetal filler in composite products or else into ecological filters…
