The beginning of SCITEC Companie
SCITEC initially “Société Parisienne des Sciures” was founded at the beginning of the 20th century in 1911 in Pantin, near Paris. It was a this moment already specialized in the transformation of sawdust and flour, allowing the recovery of wood waste.
Then, the head office was relocated in Argenteuil, in the Val d’Oise, but retained its core business of sawdust.
The company, experiencing growth in its activity, has gradually open several other production units, including some factories in the heart of the Auvergne – Rhône – Alpes. It was in 1965 that one of them was born in Craponne sur Arzon, in Haute-Loire (43).
Then, in 2015, the Craponne sur Arzon manufacturing site was taken over by SARL SCITEC managed by Mr. FANGET Noël & Mr. COTTIER Christian. To this day, the SCITEC company retains its know-how based on the same manufacturing method that has lasted for more than 110 years, while bringing qualitative advances and developing products adapted to each of its customers.
SCITEC Quality commitment

Indeed, each sector of activity requires a suitable product, with specificities in terms of particle size, hygrometry, absorption characteristics, etc… and SCITEC is able to meet its demands due to its knowledge of the job.
In addition, independent EUROFINS laboratories carry out analyzes to ensure the quality of SCITEC flour and sawdust. As a result, the search for bacteria, pesticides, heavy metals, yeasts, molds, etc. guarantees optimum quality for each sawdust and each flour offered by SCITEC.
